Vivvi, a leading provider of employer-sponsored child care and early learning, today announced plans to open a new Upper East Side campus in Spring 2024. The 5,100-square-foot location will be located at 1274 Second Avenue, creating more than 60 additional child care seats for one of NYC’s most popular neighborhoods for families to live and work.
The Vivvi campus—the company’s eighth—will be located down the block from Vivvi’s first Upper East Side location, which just six months after opening is already enrolled to capacity. “We’ve seen unprecedented demand for high-quality child care and early learning on the Upper East Side,” said Charles Bonello, co-founder and CEO of Vivvi. “We’re so excited to expand our presence here and serve even more families in NYC.”
Vivvi’s new building on the Upper East Side will offer two floors of light-filled classrooms for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years, and will be open from 7am-7pm, providing parents with the convenience and flexibility that works for their busy schedules. This expanded Upper East Side presence will allow Vivvi to cater to both community enrollment and employer partners that provide child care as a benefit to their employees.
Vivvi campuses are purposefully designed to foster children’s curiosity and encourage the play and exploration that supports their inquiry-based curriculum. Design features include learning spaces that are bright, vibrant and open and thoughtful details like a designated “Wiggle Room” for physical activity.
